Robot madness

Apparently the reason we have to fill out those weird tests before we post something has been explained by blogger...

Sunday dress makes me want to proselytize

Today I dressed up for an interview for a summer job. I wore one of the sweaters from my mission. It made me want to proselytize everything and talk about how much Heavenly Father loves all His children.

Instead of proselytizing everyone, I shared a just real quick spiritual thought before my human anatomy review. I explained how we as humans are inherently able to choose good and right the majority of the time. We are wonderful children of Heavenly Father created to be examples of good. (see Mosiah 29:26)

I feel like ending this post with,

make good choices!

Couponing

I am not an avid shopper, but sometimes I look at coupons.

Just Real Quick, the following is my tale of couponing:

Once upon a time I got a book of coupons in the mail. One of them said "$4 dollars off Chicken Nuggets."

I was surprised and kind of elated, cut the coupon out and went to the store. I grabbed the bag of chicken nuggets and some barbecue sauce and went to the check out.

"This coupon isn't valid until next month," the cashier said. "Oh, oops!" I replied. "I don't want them in that case."

So that is my story of how the little boy bought only BBQ sauce at a bulk food store.

Honey Mustard Anniversary

Today I celebrated the 3rd year Anniversary of me knowing the goodness of Honey Mustard.

Because everything this awesome deserves a Just Real Quick celebration.

I used the word Ubiquitous in conversation after one of my reviews.

Yep, I did.

The 23 days of a 23rd Birthday on the 23rd day of January

I have an amazing mother!

This year is a year I have been looking forward to, not because of the supposed end of the world but, because it is my golden year!

This year I turn 23 on on the 23rd. I am thoroughly excited about it, especially that it is also the chinese new year. A plethora of good karma to me.

Anyway, my mom, in preparation for my golden birthday, gave me 23 presents, one for each day preceding the day of my birth. They aren't big, or expensive, but a present is a present.

Just real quick here are some of the wrapped presents that I have opened:

1) A pin that I had bought from Canada that I left at my parents' house
2) A sample of hair gel (like a little packet of gel)
3) Retractable sharpie markers (I have an infatuation with new pens)
4) Scripture markers of all different colors

and today's present

5) To-go packets of tylenol which came in very handy when I got a headache tonight.

Three cheers for my awesome mother! We'll see what the coming days bring eh?

Islam

I started an Islam and the gospel class today.

As I was doing some reading for the class I came upon this phrase in the intro of Islam, the Basics  by Colin Turner

"That Islam should be held responsible for the faults of Muslims makes absolutely no sense."

I liked that and just real quick wanted to share it.

Nephew Moments

I have the most fun nephew in all the world.

He is at the phase in life when he repeats things you say and is always on the go.

Just real quick, here are some of my favorite sayings of his:

Q: "What does Buzz's helmet do?"
His Answer: *Whoosh! and moves his hands up over his head*

Q: How old are you?
A: 1
Q: How old is daddy?
A: Old

"3,2,1-bwast off!"

What does a werewolf say?
Aw-whoo

What does Woody say?
howdy, howdy

and last but not least,

What does mommy say?
Love you mommy.
